There are several tax credits and rebates available including: Energy Star Rebates, Carrier AC Rebate, State of Florida AC Rebates, AC Tax Credit, and JEA.

Energy Star Rebates – $1500
AC tax credits and AC rebates in Jacksonville just got better. Most homeowners have heard about incentive programs offered by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. As part of our nation’s efforts to reduce dependency on foreign sources of energy, the Federal Government has been providing income tax credits to help offset the costs of making energy efficient improvements to your home. Now, the State of Florida is offering Energy Star Rebates for residents who purchase and install qualifying energy saving products during valid promotion dates.

Carrier Air Conditioner Rebate – Up to $1200
At All Weather Contractors, we also offer an Air Conditioner Rebate for select models through Carrier’s Cool Choices program for the purchase of a new central air conditioner, central heat pump, gas furnace, or other Energy Star controls and thermostats. Carrier’s Cool Choices promotion gives you the opportunity to redeem your manufacturer’s rebate for cash, travel or merchandise. Only energy efficient Carrier systems sold as a replacement for the homeowner’s existing HVAC system or as an add-on unit for their existing home qualify. Florida AC Rebates – $1500
In addition, AWC offers a variety of heating and air conditioning products that not only meet the requirements for income tax credits and State of Florida AC Rebates but can also provide years of substantial savings on your monthly energy bills. As a homeowner, the amount of your federal AC tax credit (unlike a deduction) can be deducted directly from the amount of income tax that you owe the IRS. On the other hand, the AC rebates offered through the State of Florida are paid directly to you on an American Express Prepaid Card that can be used anywhere American Express Cards are accepted.
